An initiative of IEM Group, Kolkata
Greetings to all!
IEM Public School is carrying forward the legacy of the IEM-UEM Group and is based on the values and principles believed in by our Founder, the visionary Prof. Dr. Satyajit Chakrabarti. Our aim is to nurture competent and confident citizens of a fast-changing world. The education we impart is based on a strong value system. While we prepare our children to excel in academics, we teach them to do so through hard work and fair play. Our talented and qualified teachers work with dedication to achieve this.
We were one of the first schools in the city to commence with online classes when the pandemic hit, and our teachers have only gone from strength to strength. We use cutting-edge technology in our classes, whether online or offline. We have state-of-the-art laboratories for all the subjects for the children to explore and grow. Our lab classes continued even during the online classes because we did not want the children’s understanding or growth to be hampered in any way.
We have a creative curriculum that seeks to identify the latent talents and interests in every child and create an exposure to the wider world so that the children’s minds may expand. We have a plethora of co-curricular activities, each chosen for the impact it has on the speaking skills, personality development and character-building of the children. Even in these two pandemic years, we were able to conduct almost the entire year’s calendar of events online.
Every child is important in our school and no child is left behind. We do this through one-to-one mentoring and tracking of each individual’s progress.
Our parent body is appreciative of all our efforts and work in partnership with us. They have supported us unstintingly during the pandemic, making it possible for the school to run smoothly.
We are building a world-class school keeping the child at the centre. Our school is equipped to provide all the facilities and support a growing child needs in this fast-paced world, to excel not only in academics and activities, but to emerge as good human beings.
